A Union of Craftsmanship and Creativity: The Success Story of Gëlle Fra® Spirits

In the rolling hills of Luxembourg’s Moselle region, tradition meets innovation, and two visionary talents—Will Kreutz, the creative mind behind Gëlle Fra®, and Camille Duhr, the master distiller of Diedenacker Distillery—embarked on a remarkable journey. Their goal? To reinvent Luxembourg’s spirit heritage and craft experiences that would resonate beyond just taste.

The collaboration began in 2022 with the launch of two groundbreaking spirits:

the Gëlle Fra® 6-Year Aged Single Malt Whisky and the Gëlle Fra® Dry Gin.

The whisky, aged in oak barrels, quickly became a favorite with its complex flavor and refined edge. The dry gin, crafted with a unique blend of botanicals, made an equally bold impression, setting the stage for a new era of Luxembourgish spirits.

Their success continued with the release of the “Les Extraordinaires” range in 2024. L’Extraordinaire Quetsch, aged in whisky barrels, brought a rich complexity to the traditional plum brandy, while L’Extraordinaire Mirabelle celebrates the sweet, golden mirabelle fruit with a balanced, bold flavor.
